2024: A Year to Remember for Timeless Celebrations

2024 was an incredible second year for Timeless Celebrations, filled with growth, creativity, and plenty of amazing celebrations. We’re endlessly grateful to everyone who trusted us to help bring their events to life. Meeting wonderful clients and playing a part in their special moments has been truly rewarding.

As we look back at 2024, let’s dive into some of our most popular hire items, the trends that defined the year, and what’s in store for 2025.

Popular Hires in 2024

Sweet Cart

The sweet cart has been a wedding staple for over a decade, and it’s clear this classic isn’t going out of style anytime soon. This year, it continued to be one of our most sought-after items, with nearly every wedding including it as a sweet treat centrepiece.

We’ve added several customizations to our sweet cart:

Colour Choices: Select from various canopy colours to match your theme.
Personalized Signs: From the playful “Treat Yourself” to custom names and dates, the cart can be tailored to your event.
Magical Lighting: Fairy lights around the cart’s uprights and top create a whimsical touch.

With bookings already pouring in for 2025, the sweet cart remains a timeless favourite for weddings, birthdays, and celebrations.

Crisp / Photo Wall

Introduced in early 2024 thanks to a special client request, the crisp/photo wall quickly became our most popular item of the year! Initially built as a one-off, this versatile wall became an instant hit. Whether it’s filled with crisps, photos, sweets, or chocolates, the possibilities are endless.

What’s new for 2025?

We’re adding a white version of the crisp wall, providing a more traditional and elegant option alongside the rustic original.

Prosecco Wall

The Prosecco wall was our very first item back in 2023, and its popularity soared even higher in 2024. Whether for weddings, anniversaries, or milestone celebrations, it’s hard to resist a bubbly-filled welcome.

This year, we doubled the fun by creating a second wall, increasing our capacity from 48 to 96 glasses. This not only accommodated larger events but also allowed us to handle multiple bookings on the same day.

What’s next?
We’re building a new Prosecco/shot wall with interchangeable shelves and a folding design. This innovative version will be more compact, making it available as a collection item for customers who prefer DIY setup.

Mobile Bars

Outdoor celebrations in marquees, stretch tents, and tipis remain popular, and our mobile bars have become a go-to solution for these events. Unlike other bar services, we offer dry hire mobile bars under £100 a day, providing an affordable option for all budgets.

This year, we expanded our inventory by building a larger bar with LED lighting. This addition offers flexibility in size and features, ensuring clients can find exactly what they need for their event.

Looking ahead, we’ll continue to monitor demand and may add more bars to our collection if needed.

White Drapes and Curtain Lights

A highlight of 2024 was acquiring a beautiful stock of white drapes and curtain lights. These versatile backdrops were a favorite for weddings, birthdays, and photo areas, offering:

A stunning background for head tables.
The ability to cover less desirable walls.
Room sectioning or photo opportunities.

Plans for 2025:
We’re exploring creative ways to use these drapes, such as:

Gazebos for ceremonies
Walkway entrances lit with fairy lights or uplighters

Garden Games

Adding a whole new category to our inventory is always a gamble, but our garden games turned out to be a huge hit! As summer rolled around, these fun additions became some of our most popular items.

Our collection now includes:

Cornhole
Axe Throwing Game (Plastic)
Beer Pong
A retro arcade machine with 3,000+ classic games

For 2025, we’re focused on expanding our variety of games and doubling up on the most popular ones to ensure availability. We’re also brainstorming some unique, custom-built games—stay tuned for more updates!
